When will my order be shipped?Updated 3 months ago

The answer is... it depends!

If you Pre-Ordered Fresh Chile During the Off-Season:

Your Fresh Green Chile order will ship as soon as we start picking the variety of chile you ordered, usually starting in July. We'll be sure to update you as the season draws near and we have a better idea of when we will start shipping.

During harvest season, we usually ship chile on Tuesdays*. The cutoff for each week's shipment is Monday at Noon MST. Orders placed Monday afternoon and later will not ship until the following week unless we over-harvest on Tuesday morning.

If you need your chile shipped a certain week, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, email us and request that well in advance of the shipping cutoff so that we can place your order on hold.

Pre-orders for Fresh Red Chile will not ship until very late in the season (typically the last week in September).

If you ordered frozen items (Rellenos, Tamales, Chimichangas, Bacon, Roasted Chile):

We ship Monday through Wednesday each week from our two distribution centers. If you opted for standard shipping on your order, your box will be shipped ground. You may also opt for Next Day Air shipping for an additional cost.

Orders typically ship the following business day after we receive payment. Orders placed Wednesday through Friday with standard shipping likely will not ship until the following Monday.

We do our best to adhere to these guidelines, but your particular shipping situation may vary. Please feel free to reach out to our support team if you have any specific questions!

If you ordered Powder, Salsa, Ristras, or our Swag:

Dry goods typically ship within 3 business days. If you need your order to ship sooner, please email us at [email protected] and we'll do our best to meet your needs.

Swag items are printed to order and shipped from the printing facility. As such, please allow an additional 3-5 days for your product to be made just for you!
